Acro Reverse Star With Hands
Howdy Stranger
Detailed Description
Many flyers find it easier to jump into reverse star holding the base's hands, and then find reverse star more stable with hands.

However, using hands means the base can't help spot the flyer if they over-rotate.  Because of this many people will skip reverse star with hands and just learn reverse star first.  Others will use a spotter.

However, even for experienced people being able to transition from reverse bird to reverse bird with hands and back is an important skill as it can open up other transitions.
