These are sometimes called nerve flossing or nerve stretches instead of nerve glides.
I am not a doctor, and you should talk to yours. But it is my understanding that unlike tendons nerves are pretty sensitive to stretching, so you don't want to push them in a hard stretch or you will just inflame them. So we don't like the term stretching. Flossing makes some sense because the idea is to get the nerves sliding in their sheaths like floss between teeth. But we don't like dentists, so we will stick with the term glides.
