Also known as a butterfly coil this is a fast way to coil a rope and then put in on as a backpack without having to stick in in a bag to carry it.
Doing it with two strands at once is twice as fast if you are in a hurry, but afterwards it will not flake well when you go to use it. Single strand is better. Even better is single strand crossing method as demonstrated in the second video. This method tends to produce the nicest stacking so it will flake better later.
