Detailed Description
There are several methods to turn across eddy lines, but most modern tandem canoers have settled on the MITH method.
Momentum - be moving forward
Initiation - Do a stern pry, bow draw, or other initiation stroke to start the canoe turning.
Tilt - tilt the canoe towards the inside of the turn.
Hold - keep the tilt, forward momentum, and turn throught the rest of the eddy turn.
