Detailed Description
Did you know that your muscles can handle more weight in the eccentric (lowering) than in the concentric (pulling back up)? Eccentric pistol squats are a great way to gain strength when you just aren't strong enough to pull yourself back up.
Just lower yourself as slow as you can, don't worry if it isn't that slow yet as long as you can do it safely. Then use both legs or a chair or whatever to stand back up. Repeat.
